Method

The rule of this site is in the name: a claim without a source is an opinion, and we label it as one. When an article states a number — how much protein, how much fibre, what counts as "too much" sugar — that number comes from a public scientific or regulatory source, linked at the bottom of the piece. Mostly that means EFSA (the EU's food safety authority) and the WHO.

We write about food for generally healthy adults. We are writers who read the source documents carefully — not clinicians. Nothing here is dietary advice for your specific situation; a registered dietitian can give you that.
